Compare this card to disciple of C’thun.
Disciple –> 3 mana for 2 dmg, 2/1 body
Shuriken –> 2 mana 2 damage, minimum 1/1 body and only gets better as it goes. PLUs it’s a spell, fitting with rogue cards (preparation) and archetypes(miracle, spell dmg) so much better.

One question-do rogue really need to spam minions?Rogue always worked more as…”spellcaster” class with decks like Miracle rogue,Malyrogue,Yogg Thief,N’Zoth Thief or Miracle Arcane Giant.
Why can’t a new archetype be viable?!?!? this is a good thing for the game
Because there are not so many other Rogue cards synergysing with Lotus ones.
This plus stealth plus more jade golems are a viable rogue deck I believe

shadowstep, brann, shadowcaster combined with battlecry jade golem effects could be good… might just be gimicky though…. we need to see more cards.
Yeah, but jade lotus works a little nicely in tempo midrange rogue at least
Just add gank up to mix and we have Jade rouge wich nac at end play huuuge Jade golem for cheap
and quite cheap spells wich can be used with Auctioneer
