While the card is not the best, it has been pointed out by multiple people that it ould work as a Pyroblast. I think the biggest advantage of this card is the need to play around it. Paladin is not known for its burst potential, and this card can make any leftover tokens a win condition, which is has decent potential. As this card only needs the hero power to synergize with, it is another way for Pally to get some finishing burst now that Anyfin is going out. It seems to be better suited to the class then Leeroy + might or something like that anyways.

On turn 10 you can combo this with any 1 or 2 mana charge minion for devastating effects. I may be wrong but I feel like this card could become a problem.

Wow! So with 9-10 mana you can do the same thing that rogue/warlock can do for 6! Incredible! This might be the weakest card shown so far tbh.

It won’t be anymore of a problem than Grommash is. And I have little hope for control paladin to outdo Control warrior in other aspects

It doesn’t require a charge minion… just any minion that is already on the board is fine.

I think this gives Pally midrange a bit of burst potential, and with the recruits available, it’s not as dead of a card late game like the other pally pump cards.

It’s still not great, just situational and deck dependant

Bearing in mind you can cook up a low cost charge (with or without divine shield) to 5 or 6 attack very easily with the Gadgetzan cards this could end up being 15 attack in a heartbeat. If you played Alexstraza the previous round, this could spell your opponents doom very easily. In standard this looks solid. In Wild it looks insane.

As they said, this is like a pyroblast. What they failed to underline is that THIS STAYS ON THE BOARD and needs to be answered or the next turn the Pally gets another pyroblas for free

When i saw this spell, i immediately though of gentle megasaur, which adapted a murloc with windfury. This murloc + this spell can lead to something devastating. I understand that this may not be the case every time, but just imagine finja being adapted with windfury + dinosize.

It’s nothing like a better pyroblast. Don’t forget it requires 2 cards for that. It’s like saying that wild pyromancer + equality is extremely broken because it’s basicly 4 mana twisting nether. Nope. It does NOT work this way.

I see your point about the “two cards” combos, but honestly your wild pyromancer+equality and twisting nether example is not the best one. Twisting nether is an amazing card but way too expensive, even clearing the board it gives your oponent the oportunity to fill the board again. The paladin combo is a little bit more difficult to do (two cards) but its 4 mana cost makes it way better since you have 6 mana left (un turn 10) to keep filling the board or equiping a weapon

The trick with wild pyro+equality is the same as it wil be with dinosize- u can use those combo pices difrend mannor like u can drop pyro and consec for 3 danage AOE still lefting down 1 hp pyro to contest board or drop eqality-consec for wipe and dont entirely killing ur minions

with dinosize is kinda same thing u can use it with combo like with one/two mana carger but u can drop it on taunt to stop agression u can drop it on damaged minion to heal it up or u can use it like blessing of kings
if u are playing topdeck war its realy strong one cuz u droping hero power and boom 10/10 silver hand recrut
i rhink that card is way better than most people thinks
