This card might be too strong, as it has the “answer me or lose” tag a few cards have had in the past. (Fandral, Avianna) You can also dump a few cheap deathrattles like Fiery Bat on the same turn as this, which could result in some nice swing turns.
Overall a really strong card that will let midrange Hunter be a massive threat,
    9/10

This seems like a good card simply for the pseudo-taunt effect of “if you don’t kill me I’ll steamroll out of control”. Your opponent needs to kill it ASAP for war of highmane+infested wolf or something crazy like that, which means they might trade sub-optimally to get the kill or use big removals that the would need for things like highmanes and bowmans (if that card ends up being functional). It’s obviously no Lyra in that regard, but the steamroll potential with the really solid stats (as well as being a 5-drop beast) makes this seem like a powerful card.

The deathrattles for hunter is below par, (except highmane). Besides hunter never gets much care draw, after you play this 5 drop you are supposed to have at most 2-3 cards in hand, so unless they are all extremely powerful discounted deathrattles for you to play next turn, else it is just a shitty card.

      2/5

what does this thing let you really play on 6 that you wouldnt have been able to otherwise? the bowman? its not like theres alot of 7-8 mana high impact deathrattle minions that you’d want to hit with that effect. spamming minions is always a thing but im not convinced this is better then bittertide or nesting roc

It’s allow you to have spare mana with cards like Highmane or wolf, and it doesn’t have t9 be played turn 5. Also winter wisp is the big 8 drop Deathrattle for hunter

Stitched Tracker seems to combo very well with this card. If your deck mainly plays high value deathrattles and you are looking to play N’zoth this card would add some serious value to the deck by making it easier to play those high value deathrattle minions.

Seems promising, but it depends on how viable Hunter Deathrattle minions are. Right now it runs Highmane and Rat Pack, and this card’s body is decent on its own, so if you get one discount with it, it’s extremely good. If not, it’s still not that bad. Again, will depend on how much hunters use Deathrattle, but I have some hope for this one.

I think it’s going to see play anyway as hunters need a solid 5 drop

        True, might replace Nesting Roc

In a Vacuum, this isn’t a very good 5 drop. You’d run Princess Huhuran before you ran this thing. Even with Highmanes in the deck, Huhuran still probably wins. You’d need to dedicate a lot harder to Deathrattle to justify this thing.

Nesting Roc also probably beats this thing sans Deathrattle support, for the record.

Are there enough deathrattles to significantly impact stampede?

Guys, notice how it reduces the cost of “deathrattle cards”, not just minions.

This means it should work with N’zoth, Forlorn Stalker, Terrorscale, Huhuran, and Feign Death and Explorer’s Hat (In Wild).

I strongly disagree it discounts the cards that you mentioned. It will work on deathrattle weapons for sure, but not on cards like N’Zoth or ones that simply have the word “Deathrattle” somewhere on them.

If you want to test it out, go play the rogue spell Journey Below 1000 times and see if you are presented with any of the aforementioned cards as a choice. Hint: If you play it in Warrior, it has a good chance to give you Death’s Bite and the other deathrattle weapons – Tentacles for Arms and in the future, the new warrior Bloodrazor.

This is a hunter card. Hunter has no Deathrattle weapons.

Obviously? The point is that it would work with them if they did.

It is true, the card does say “Your deathrattle cards” not “minions”. In theory if this is NOT a typo, the minion should discount every deathrattle minion, weapon, and spell. Organis is correct for evaluating the card as it’s given to us. Chimborazo where do you get journey below and deathrattle weapons? Journey below is based specifically on minions with the exact name.

Don’t complicate the card … it discounts all cards that have ‘Deathrattle’ as a keyword. So no, N’Zoth will NOT cost 8.

Has the same wording as Summoning Portal. So it should work the same.

      August 2, 2017 at 12:52 am

The same … don’t complicate the card.

It has to be on the board. The DRs have to be in your hand.

The chances that the fact that DR cards in your deck are also discounted is relevant is superminimal (the new Princes and Hemet, I guess that’s all!?).

Good card. It’s beast, decent body and useful ability.

Weird it does not reduce to a minimum of 1.

        He means the vanilla scale.

A 5 cost vanilla card (a card with no text) would be 5/6 (or 6/5)
This card with that effect only has the downside of -1 attack compared to a vanilla one of the same cost.

This cards Powerlevel is really sth else. The fact it is in hunter cools it down a bit, but still. It’s strong enough to not get removed instantly so u can play it on curve instead of ‘turn 9 combo’ (in hunter lol). Does that the archetype work? Dunno.
