So I need dust for thalnos, I mostly run fast paced decks and this guy is just lying on the shelf. I already ran the death rattle quest in the past and not planning to run anything like that any time soon. So, what you recon. Can I dust this guy? Thanx

this guy is going to really test your deck-building skills. i think people are underestimating the difficulty level. its going to take an extremely defined deck to pull this off…consistently

I have a question on Barnes. tha card says that he summons a random minion IN UR DECK. Does it mean that he cannot summon minions that I have already drawn during the game?
Depending on what I’ve drawn it might enhance or lower the chances to get a specific card (e.g. Savannah Highmane). So if u decide to keep him in ur starting hand, u might control a bit the odds through Mullingan.
PS: I really want to put that card in my midrange hunter toghether with Kindly Granmother

it’ll be good in NZoth and Reno decks… but this card is just going to encourage everyone to start running Silence again. and that effect is TERRIBLE for the game.

This card is just too random to be all that useful and it is not very powerful

Unless you make a mostly death rattle deck then it’s pretty good. RNG makes the game tbh.

What if a battlecry minion is summoned? will his/her power be triggered?

I doubt it, Battlecry must come from the hand.

        Oh… too bad.
Thanks for the clarification. I just found this definition for Battlecry power:
“The Battlecry ability triggers when the card is played normally from your hand. It does NOT trigger if a different effect puts it into play from your hand or deck.”

Just thought of this, but have you guys seen the Murloc N’Zoth control pally that some people have been playing? Barnes and The Curator both fit so well. Barnes can pull an extra Warleader, Bluegill, Loot Hoarder, Sylvanas, Tirion, or Cairne. That’s sick! Can also pull a 1/1 N’Zoth, Kodo, or Pyro, but still!

I’m on the fence about this one. Sometimes it’s insane, sometimes it’s a Razorfen. The problem as some have pointed out is that a lot of decks play Doomsayer now, and that’s a horrible pull from this thing, and if you run Doomsayer you probably don’t want to risk running this.

Auto include in N’Zoth Paladin for sure. Sometimes is will be a doomsayer when you don’t want one, but even then the opponent will prolly want to kill it more then you anyway. N’Zoth Priest seems good too. Rogue sees ok too.

Good for Malygos rouge and deathreattle decks.

May be pretty good in deathrate decks. The Tirion weapon or silvanas, or ragnaros or a free Ysera spell, in hunter with Highmare etc. In worst case is a total 4/5 for 4. Even if you hit something usefull only 50% of the time it can be good enough to see play. Hunters play Elek, that with less than 33% of times in some decks

In a Deathrattle’s deck pretty good
